I posted this in another message board, let's see if I get any replies here.
I ran my first 5k last weekend (out of town). More difficult than running on a treadmill. I'd like to try that here, but don't have a good way of measuring that distance on the promenade/bike path. You could go on for miles there. Anyone know any local routes to run that would be that distance? |

The promenade from 69th St pier to the Verranzo is 1.5miles which is a lil more than 2.4k.
So my suggestion is to run from one end to the other and back again. You'll be running a lil more than 4.8K.
Hope that helps. _________________ soaring high above the clouds

| Thanks, I wasn't sure of the distance. Tried it today...nice and sunny but very tough when running into the wind. I'll have to try it there again sometime. |
