Hey all,

Moving into the area in a few weeks. Wondering if there are any bars / clubs in the area that play current rock / indie, danceable or otherwise (stuff you might hear at Misshapes, for instance).

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Welcome to the site man.

If your looking for live bands the best place in Bay Ridge is The Wicked Monk. Here is a link to our review: http://www.bayridgenights.com/nlifereviews-39.html

Other than the Wicked Monk most of the places in Bay Ridge play an eclectic mix of rock, house (club), and rap... Sometime all mixed together... I think its definatley something unique to this area.
