The Dos and Donts of a First Date...

The Don'ts
	Don't mention your last boyfriend/girlfriend-Your experiences are probably fascinating, but we really could do without hearing about them. If your going out for drinks don't drink too much. Don't check out someone else. We're only asking for a little bit of your time. Take it slow don't head straight to a motel. Period!
Don't keep talking about yourself- atleast make it sound like your interested in them. Don't expect the bill to be payed. Offer! Don't act too serious. Try to be carefree and light-hearted. You will be judged on how you look and your behavior. So don't wear anything to revealing, look classy! [check out our do's and don'ts of fashion for some tips] Don't be cheap, tip generously but accurately (Dont tip alot for horrible service)! Alot of girls judge by the way you tip. Don't ask us why we aren't married yet! That is a RUDE and impertinent question. And hey, aren't you calling us because you aren't married either? We sure hope that's the case.

The Dos

Do dress appropriately for impressing/showing off your BEST SIDE. [check out our do's and don'ts of fashion for some tips] Do PLAN AHEAD! Have a game plan for the evening. You dont HAVE to stick to it, but no one wants to sit in your car for two hours deciding what to do. Do be chatty, have things to ask your date and things to tell your date about yourself. Your strangers learning about each other. Do always offer to pay your fair share or more, depending on who asked who out. If the date isn't going as well as hoped, do stay polite and friendly- stick it out a little while- no need to hurt feelings. Do call the next day to tell them if you had a nice time. Do give your date a chance to fully respect you, know your limits Do tell it like it is. Let them know who you are and what your personality is to help your date better understand your reactions and relieve your stress level. Do highlight mutual interests. Discovering that someone you're attracted to likes the same things you do can be exciting. Do be on time! One of the worst things you can do on your first date is to show up late and keep them waiting. Leave early to arrive toyour destination on time.
