Thursday Night

We arrived around 11:30, walked right in.

Inside: Salty Dog is a fire house themed bar, owned and operated by Fire Fighters. After walking through the front door, which is a huge gate that lifts up, just like a real fire house, I immediately noticed the REAL FIRE TRUCK to my right. It holds the DJ up on top. The fire house theme is definitely fun and attractive, making for a very different bar Theme.

Gender Ratio: More guys than girls, but not by much.

Dress Code: A jeans and sneakers bar, but one of our friends couldn?t get in because of their NO JERSEYS rule, so dress accordingly.

They played rock until 12am when the DJ came on. Then it was a mixture of house and hip-hop for the rest of the night. Drinks were moderately priced, same as any other bar. Don?t ask for anything too complicated, stick to beer and simple mixed drinks. The crowd was college age with some older folks mixed in. This is a nice calm place to go for a few drinks on a Thursday night.
